the discount.

The other 5% applies if you complete a 6-hour
Drug and Alcohol Driving Awareness Program in
addition to the 6-hour defensive driving course.
The 5% insurance discount for taking the DADAP
course is required by law (76[R] HB 3757), meaning
that all automobile insurers must grant
this discount to Texas drivers who complete a
TEA approved DADAP course.
